Dog Went Viral When She Found A New Loving Home After Being Ditched

On May 5, the Wisconsin Humane Society posted a heartbreaking photo of a dog named Baby Girl who was tied up to a yellow fire hydrant near the neighborhood. As you can see, there was a backpack where her favorite toys and other stuff are inside.

It is really hard to think that the pet owners will soon give up on their pets, it’s because, in the first place, they loved their pets so much. Maybe there is a reason why they abandoned Baby Girl.

The story went viral not only because of the photo, but it is also how the Wisconsin Humane Society handled her situation. Instead of punishing the person who did that, they shared a lot of heartwarming and meaningful posts on their social media page. The caption says:

“First and foremost, we are so sorry you had to part with your best friend. It’s evident just how much you loved her and we can see you did your best while struggling with your own medical complications and challenges of life. We see your love in the bag you carefully packed with all of her favorite things. We see your love in the way you secured her leash so she wouldn’t get hit by a car. We see your love in the way you placed her in the middle of a neighborhood where she’d be quickly found. We see your love in how happy and healthy Baby Girl looks. And we see your love in the note you left, pleading for someone to help her when you no longer could.”

After that, their Facebook post has been shared 4000 times and has been featured on the Instagram account of Weratedogs which has 2.5 million followers.

A lot of people said that the Wisconsin Humane Society has a compassionate response regardless of what the owner did to its dog.

The Shelter is now taking care of Baby Girl for almost two weeks, they posted an update on May 1 and said that they already met the previous owner of Baby Girl who said that they are grateful for the chance to connect with the dog and grant her wish to find a new lovely home.

After that, there were a lot of families who wants to meet and adopt her when she was made available for adoption, and now she was officially adopted and found a new lovely owner with a lovely home.
