Woman adopts senior cat, then come back to shelter to rescue his 16-year-old best friend

These two senior cats’ best friends named Mojo 11 years old and Max 16 years old, are ready for adoption in Anne Arundel County Animal Control shelter in Maryland USA. But they were separated into different cages when they arrive at the shelter. And they believe that they will spend their last days in that cage, because the senior cats are less likely to get adopted. But nothing is impossible,  their guardian angel appeared!

A kind-hearted woman adopted Mojo, and after a few days which is the day after Christmas she came back to the shelter to get Mojo’s best friend.

The woman said that Mojo has been a wonderful pet, but she couldn’t get Max out of her mind. The idea of him living out his life in a cage just broke her heart.

“Mojo has been a wonderful pet, she said, but she couldn’t get Max out of her mind. ‘The idea of him living out his life in a cage just broke my heart,’ she said,” the shelter wrote via Facebook.

It’s wonderful moment!!! Max was so happy because he will be reunited with his best friend Mojo. This time they have a loving home and a loving human.

The best friends love to snuggle up together! It’s so nice to see that they still have each other at a place they call home.

Mojo has skin issues and his feet were awfully declawed, so he can’t walk properly. Luckily, his new owner is very caring and cares for his conditions thoroughly.

Sadly, after one year of being adopted, Max passed away in 2016. But in that one year, he was living his best life with his best friend and their guardian angel human in a new peaceful, and lovely home.

His owner posted a tribute that said:  “Today another angel crossed the rainbow bridge. Thank you Max for allowing us to spend this year with you. You completed our family. Every day was a joy to be with you. Your personality was hilarious at times; always putting your foot in the water bowl and flooding the floors, always trying to eat whatever someone else was eating on the couch. You never stopped purring. We’re glad that you loved attention because you were always so wonderful to pet and cuddle. Thank you for being such an amazing cat. We love you so much. You will always be in our hearts. Sweet dreams handsome boy”

I hope Max is happy! and the sure thing is he is in a good place. Rest in peace adorable cat, you will be missed!
