Unique Kitten Who Doesn’t Have Tail Loves To Jump Like Bunny And Soon Found A Forever Home

In North Carolina, United States there was a family who found a stray cat on their doorstep and let it in, so they choose to take care of it. When the tiny cat entered the house, she was placed in a different room so the family put up a safe haven for the cat and the kids.

This cat was born like a Manx cat, which means it doesn’t have a tail and it has abnormalities at the rear of its spine. After they adopted the kitten, the family contacted Sparkle Cat Rescue to help them with the tiny kitten.

“Manx kittens have rear-ended issues due to vertebral deformity; strengthening the hind legs is vital in their growth.” Stephanie Grantham said she is a co-founder of the shelter.

When the kitten named Thumper arrived at the shelter, they began to get the care that he needs to gain his normal growth. They give him many hot baths and enough medical care to support his healing and prevention of different infections.

They also give him exercise rehabilitation where the kitten learned to perform tricks and learned how to jump with its hind legs like a rabbit.

“He didn’t want to use his hind legs, to work on it I made him jump in and out of a small box so he would have to use his hind legs,” Stephanie said.

Although Thumper is a different cat, he is cheerful, a wonderful climber, and loves bouncing around the room. He was a very nice and lovely cat who has no idea that he has a problem. He adores every people he meets; he looks like a cuddly baby who simply wants to find a lovely home.

There was a family who saw Thumper’s story on social media and immediately fell in love with him, so they decided to apply for adoption just to give him the life that he really deserves.

“Your request brought tears to my eyes; the amount of effort and love you’ve spent on your creatures is incredible, and I knew Thumper was the ideal match,” Stephanie said.

Thumper is now eight weeks old and now living his life to the fullest, he still loves to play, especially kneading the dough with his tiny paws.

His new family is now ready to give him the loving home that he wants and everyone at the shelter is looking forward to seeing him grow.

When Thumper finally went home, he seems so happy and loved with his new owners. We’re so grateful to those people who help him to find a forever home.
