9-YEARS-OLD GIANT cat went to the shelter and after within an hour, he found a loving home

A 9-year-old cat named Edgar is a big orange and white cat that was brought to the Humane Society of Carroll County in Westminster, Maryland because his family could no longer keep him as the small children couldn’t get along.

When he came to the shelter everyone was surprised by his big size. He is tall and his weight was 20lbs.

“We were all a bit taken back with his size. He weighed in at 21lbs, As soon an animal comes into our shelter we develop an adoption plan for it. And in Edgar’s case, we launched a social media campaign.” Charles Brown said, Executive Director of the Humane Society of Carroll County

After three hours after the campaign was posted, It was successful because they received lots of love and attention and they found a new home for Edgar.

There was a girl named Jenna Marie who really wanted to adopt Edgar and they were so thankful for the powerful campaign on social media. When she suggested to her boyfriend that Edgar should give her a companion, he immediately agreed.

They quickly went to the Humane Society to see if they are lucky to bring Edgar home.

“I first saw his photo circling around Facebook on Tuesday and I was in awe. I’ve never seen a cat like him before and he really caught my eye. He’s beautiful!” Jenna said.

Luckily, Edgar welcomed the lovely couple with his warmth and chill personality and they brought Edgar home. It was a grateful ending because the cat goes along with the new home quickly.

Edgar is now happy with his new lovely family in a new comfortable forever home. Sending lots of love to them!
