18-year-old blind cat was surrendered by his owner to the shelter after a few days he finally found his new home

A 18-year-old one-eyed cat named Jaime has been surrendered to the shelter by his owner and has an uncertain fate. He was so scared and terrified when he arrived at the shelter. He didn’t want to stay there because he just wanted to go home with his old family.

When the Tonis Kitten Rescue learned about his story, they posted his story on Facebook, hoping that he would find a new loving family and a comfortable home.

The people in the shelter saw that Jamie was a bit scared because of the new environment and surroundings and that he didn’t recognize those people around him. And that is how Leslie found Jaime, and she knows that Jaime is the one.

Leslie lost her 3 senior felines. That’s why she has a soft heart for old cats. She wanted to give them a family and welcomed them to her lovely home. Her mom died the day she brought a new old cat home with her.

“I was still one cat down from my limit. I was kind of looking for another old cat to help, and his sweet face, age, and bad eye made him exactly the kind of cat I loved,” Leslie said.

Leslie went to pick up Jaime at the shelter to give him a new loving, forever home. I renamed him Nico, and he’s just one of eight seniors in my house, along with one bratty 4-year-old kitty.
“I love the seniors,” she said.

With his new loving home that gives him proper love and care, Nico will live his golden years with happiness in his heart. Nico will never be alone again.
Sometimes all we need are people who truly care about us and will never give up on us.
